I decided to put all my old stuff together, like everyone else seems to be doing.

The bride and Groom

Her veil is the mist covered mountains
her dress the sparkling sea
the bouquet she holds, the meadow
and in this girl is me

The Groom stands in his armor
as brilliant as the sun
for He is the King of glory
the bride is His chosen one

Oh the galaxy is the chapel
the clouds as carriages draw nigh
Angels sing the chorus
and with joy the bride will cry

The King wipes away every tear
a kind smile on His face
“These vows will last forever,
forever you shall have my graceâ€

Deserted path

Through darkness and toil
You have pulled me
with many more roads to take

a path that's straight
narrow in nature
this is my lifes mission

a song to be sung
an enemy to slay
the power of One in me

Master and servant
i fall too much
yet the unloved is loved

Lord, give me strength
times are rough
this road is laden with traps

allies desert me
friends betray
my King never leaves me to the end

This was a poem I wrote up in five minutes, simply because I was feeling depressed. I have struggled with friendships over the years, either having them fall apart or just not having any. I personaly think it stinks, but maybe you have I different opinion.

God in nature

As white feathers fall down in drifts
When the snow falls into your hair
The sun blazes in the horizon
By the stars the moon is kissed

Sit on the grass during these times
Turn your face into the wind
And taste a bit of God
To Him the strands of nature binds

Allow the curtain to be torn
For He is now among us
Angel wing beat steadily
Use your ears to hear the horn

And now get on the streets of tar
To journey back to crowded life
Show your clear heart to others
Among mockers reveal you are

This was written during church, when I was looking out the window watching the snow fall. Snow falls rarely where we live, so it was a real treat. I love snow, it brings me back to when I used to live in Minnesota
