Flash files?

Postby CreatureArt » Wed Jun 20, 2007 3:08 am

I've figured out its not possible to upload .swf files with a post on CAA. I don't know a whole heap about it, but I suspect the Actionscript aspect of Flash can cause some security issues or something. If this isn't an issue, however, is there the possibility of allowing .swf files to be uploaded?

If not, is there any other format I can convert it to in order to place it on CAA? Or is it best just to upload it to photobucket and link to it?

Sorry about the twenty questions here and thanks for your help. :)

CAA supports GIF....but that would probably make the file pretty big right?

It might depend on how many pixels high and wide the animation is... so that's a good idea. I could use that for my non-sound animations.

You are correct, CA. There are security issues that prevent us from allowing flash.

As for the GIF file, you could probably do that, but there's a pretty small "upload limit" on the server.
