it's been a while since i posted so i figured i'd post two (2) new ones today. yes two (2) new ones, there is nothing wrong with your eyes. this first one i wrote for a poetry project that we did in english. see if you can guess what it's a ripoff of.

Because I could not wait for the party-
It kindly waited for me-
The house held just me and some friends-
And 40 bottles of sherry

We partied fast-We knew no waste
for I had put on a cd
to dance and drink to
for my man-

The time passed 12, half the people
drove
Their cars- in the road-
We passed the Hastings-
We passed the police car-

Or maybe- it passed us-
The wind was cold and dry
'cuz too small, my skirt-
My shirt- only half on-

We stopped at a ditch that seemed
Like a big hole in the ground-
The bottom was barely visible-
With beer cans- all around-

Since then- been months- but it
seems shorter than a week
That I first guessed that party
Was not where I should have been-



and now the second one (1), ! aqui vamos!

This pain has done nothing for me
my hatred only tears me apart
the voices whisper their lies to me
they say that I shouldn't have been
I have carried a grudge and
it has dragged me down and
as I fall to my knees I hear
a raging storm outside that
is comparable to the one within
I step outside and spread my arms
and let the rain mingle with my tears
and wash me clean

Your untitled poem the post before this one, has a nice tenderness to it. I really like it. ^_^ Your two more recent ones are very quick. I feel like I needed to be rapping the first of those two. *hehe* They're good.

these words come pouring out
expressing all of my emotions
they are paving the way for
conversations between you and me
and for all of the times that i've
felt i was betrayed, here i am with you
singing this song of lies about
the way that you close my eyes that
makes me feel closer to you
do my words make you feel better
about the that you've treated me?
i know that you deserve to have
one last chance to put this
all away in the past
i love you and i will sing
but this will be our last song.

hola peeps!! today i have two new poems for y'all. the first one i finished today. anyways, here they are and i hope y'all like them.

i can't breathe
i can't think
words fail me
words will not do
pain is all that is
i can't stop the rain
i don't want this
this suffocating remorse
that is taking over
my hunger does not stop
my thirst cannot be quenched
i cannot breathe


this next one i was feeling kind of depressed when i wrote it so if it seems depressing that's probably why

beautiful pain, beautiful grace

pain has become my companion,
taking the place of love, of you
pain to me is beautiful
laying bloody in my soul.
i do not touch it, i do nothing
i fear that it will burn
pain drips red from my wrist
and i know i can feel.
pain sings beautiful songs to me,
runs its fingers through my hair
it has left me cold to life.
somdeday i will say goodbye
to all that pain has done to me and
i will find myself enraptured
by your beautiful grace

well i just wanted to let y'all know that our computer at home is acting up so it may be a while before i post some new poems. i have written some new ones but i forgot to bring my spiral with me. *sigh* anyways. peace y'all

you clipped my wings and
threw me in this cage to die,
broke my bones and left me
cold on the floor,
told me liees and tried to kill
my faith.
you called me names and
tried to crush my spirit
do what you want but
it's no use
i will throw myself against
these iron bars until they break
and i'm free to fly again
