Alright, who else loves the animaniacs? I love those guys....
hooray for 90's tv shows! This came out the year I was born, but I still love the show. (though my dad has to explain some of the 90's references to me :eyeroll:)

I used to love watching this show and talking with friends about it. It was great when it lasted. :)

Animaniacs is a wonderful show. Really, all three of the Stephen Spielberg Presents cartoons are. They are prime examples of how to blend pop culture references with comedy that stands on its own without it.
"It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things."

I loved it too. The Warner siblings were my favorite, along with Slappy Squirrel and of course Pinky and the Brain. If I'm not mistaken, the entire series is available on DVD. Sounds like that'd be an excellent investment.

This cartoon brought me and my best friend much entertainment when we were children I dare say.
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Animaniacs is brilliant! I didn't watch it when I was young, even though it was on then (it was another of those series like The Simpsons that mum thought would be a bad influence on us). I bought the DVDs a few years ago and loved every minute. I wish WB would release the fourth and final volume of the series on DVD. It's been too long!

What's amazing about this show (and others such as Freakazoid) was just how accessible and intelligent the humor was. Not only was it funny to kids, but there was a lot of humor that were tailored more to adults.

That and they slipped some dirty jokes in there, hahaha. Clever.

Best american animated show EVER! its the "seinfeld" of saturday morning cartoon shows. I love it so much. I have all the DVD box sets they've released so far. I HATE that they decided to not release the rest of the episodes ><. I'm going to have to get around to tracking them down on the internet one of these days.

What really attracted me to the show is that one of my favorite non-anime VA's was on it: Rob Paulsen. He played Yakko, Pinky, and Dr. Scratchnsniff

animaniacs entertaining children.
kid 1: "I loved your show!"
Yakko: "Here kid, have a bag of money."
kid 2: (sad and jealous) "Aw, I liked your show too."
Yakko: "Here, sport" (with a grin) "have a fat-free yogurt."

animaniacs in space:
Dot: "Would you like tang tang or tang."
Yakko: "Aaaaaaaaah.... , I'll take tang."
Dot: "I'm sorry, we're fresh out of tang. How about trying the tang?"
Yakko: "Okay."
Can you tell I watched those shows? Sadly, I couldn't find video clips of these.
